Public Art & Muralism
An Island That Creates
The art that tells Culebra's story beyond its beaches
Culebra's artistic identity is expressed through public sculptures, murals, portraits and creative interventions that celebrate its people, document its history and transform ordinary spaces into places of cultural meaning.
Some of those works remain visible today. Others disappeared because of hurricanes, weather, deterioration, renovation or simply the passage of time.
Even when an artwork no longer exists, its photographs and stories remain an important part of Culebra's cultural memory. This section gathers the artists and projects that shaped it.
